The Chapter Advance offers the opportunity for members to connect from across our 4-state region. With time set aside for networking, prioritizing and planning for 2025, learning more about how our Chapter works, and this year hearing from Lisa Williams, Associate Dean for Wellness and Well-being, University of Kentucky College of Medicine as she shares her “Leadership Lessons: from burnout to balance.

Leadership Lessons: from burnout to balance
During her time as a leadership coach and consultant, Lisa witnessed her clients make transformations in their mindsets and behaviors. These transformations always resulted in sustainable shifts from burnout to balance. Through this work, Lisa created a list of five impactful lessons that help individuals exhale, realign with what matters most, and shift from burnout to balance. During this session, Lisa will share the five lessons and how she has utilized them in supporting coaching clients as well as in her role as associate dean for well-being at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

Learning Objectives:
1. Recognize the stages of burnout
2. Discover new perspectives about the drivers of burnout
3. Translate the five impactful lessons into action/practice for clients and self

Participants will earn 1 Core Competency and 4 Resource Development CCEs for attending this in person event.

About Our Speaker: Lisa Williams is an empathetic disruptor for change and organizational well-being, guiding organizations through transformative processes to tackle systemic causes of burnout and enhance professional fulfillment. Recognizing the interconnectedness of individual well-being, team dynamics, and organizational culture, Lisa uses a holistic and comprehensive approach to drive positive change. Currently, Lisa holds the position of Associate Dean for Well-Being at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where she established the university's first Office for Wellness and Well-Being. Before assuming her role as Associate Dean, Lisa was an adjunct assistant professor in the UK College of Health Sciences and the Emotional Intelligence Advisor to the college's Physician Assistant Department. In addition, Lisa has served as an ICF-certified leadership coach and organizational consultant, a co-founder of the High Impact Leadership Project, an adjunct professor in the UK College of Social Work, and an executive leader for various organizations, including the former University of Kentucky Institute for Workplace Innovation. Lisa holds a Master of Science in Social Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University.
