Resilience through Recognition with Daniel Montgomery and Eboni Webb

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of our clients are realizing how unprepared they were for crisis. Disruptions to business leave CEOs wondering if they can land on their feet. In a word, they lack the resilience necessary to imagine possible futures while enduring present adversity.

In this webinar, we’ll be focusing on one foundational task of resilience: recognizing the truth. The great danger of anxiety is that it remakes the world in its own image, tempting us to make decisions that fail us because they don’t reflect reality. Coupling our own experience and process with leading research from psychologist Rick Hanson, our goal is to train coaches to bring their clients back to reality through:

Compassion: Admitting and mediating pain within ourselves and others,

Mindfulness: Presence and attention to the objective world, unclouded by the lies of fear,

Learning: Equipping clients with cognitive tools to help them “un-install” from the world of anxiety and “re-install” in the world we all share.

1. Participants well better understand Compassion as a usable tool and resource in the work of habit forming.

2. Participants will learn to use Mindfulness as a means to an end, as a strategy for deeper attention, recognition and objectivity.

3. Participants will learn greater methods for communicating the neurology of human Learning and its role in behavioral and outlook change.

Participants will earn 1.5 Resource Development CCEs for attending this webinar.
